MARU’S PART IN ‘THE EVISEN VIDEO’ IS A PRE-SESH MUST-WATCH

Right around the time that Tightbooth Production’s Lenz II was released, Evisen Skateboards was announced. The Tokyo company, founded by Katsumi Minami, came out swinging with a unique voice and on-point art direction. Not long after, the trailer for the brand’s full-length, The Evisen Video, dropped. Also produced by the rhythmically precise folks at Tightbooth, The Evisen Video is a straight-up hype machine—digging deep into those bass-and-treble chakras to unearth a groove that skateboarders colloquially call “stoke.”

Parts from the eponymous full-length have been doled out piecemeal over the past year, and this week we got to see the Maru (aka Shintaro Maruyama) part. Watch it and try to stay seated for all 4 fast-paced minutes… we bet that you can’t.
