This Year’s ‘King Of Macba’ Contest Is Stacked

The fourth series of MACBA Life‘s annual plaza competition, ‘King Of MACBA,’ was announced last weekend with a list of confirmed skaters that will have you reaching for the paella: Tiago Lemos; Marek Zaprazny; Adriel Parmisano; Trent McClung; “Stewie” Petar Stantchev; and last year’s second-place winner Gabriel Fortunato, just to name a few. (The one notable exception is Gustav Tonneson, the Sour Pro who has been dominating the contest over the years… heavy is the crown?) King Of MACBA 4—sponsored by Monster and Volcom—kicks off today at the world-famous spot. Stay tuned for recaps and watch the first match, between Gabriel Fortunato and Eniz Fazliov, below!
