Ryuhei Kitazume’s Part for the Nike SB x Tightbooth Dunk Low

With the release of the SB Dunk Low by Tightbooth, Ryuhei Kitazume drops a satisfying part alongside the collab shoe. Out of necessity, the SB Dunk Low by Tightbooth captures the essence and liberation of nocturnal urban escapades. Its upper boasts a combination of mixed suede and tumbled leather, adorned with textural overlays that skillfully replicate the metal grates encountered and utilized during their after-dark sessions. The infusion of key co-branding and subtle hints of orange on the woven labels and sockliner seamlessly infuse Tightbooth’s visual identity into the Dunk Low, complemented by multiple reflective areas artfully integrated throughout the upper.

In 2005, a crew in Osaka led by Shinpei Ueno shined a light on the nocturnal artistry of Japanese skateboarding. Through his travels and 15 years crafting the underground video series Lenz, Ueno has helped to document and spread the quick-footed style and explorations of color and environment that have become a hallmark of his local scene and Tightbooth’s visual aesthetic. The shoe will be available on November 11 in select skate shops and on November 14 on SNKRS.

Directed and Edited by Shinpei Ueno.
