Claus Grabke is a fascinating figure: The German pro was in high demand in the eighties, and by 1985 Powell-Peralta was planning on releasing his pro model… but due to unforeseen circumstances, it never happened. Well, it happened and it didn’t; the rest is history. Now, the brand is ready to make Claus Grabke’s Powell-Peralta pro model official by releasing 237 autographed decks. Grabke tells you about the decades-old trials and tribulations behind this deck, and he’s been up to lately, in the above mini-doc. Very cool.
