CHARLES COLLET’S ‘MOMENTS AT HOME’ FOR RVCA

After skating for 20 years, Charles Collet wanted to do something about the problem of waste in skateboarding. He developed an interest in woodworking and for the past year he’s done a deep dive into the world of marquetry (the sick multicolored inlaid wood creations you see in chess boards, for example). Collet has used these woodworking skills to upcycle used and broken boards into entirely new skateboards. While at home in Grenoble, France, he tells you about his process, and the philosophy behind his eco-conscious craft, in RVCA’s ‘Moments At Home.’
