Pharrell Williams Is Producing Mikey Alfred’s Upcoming Skate Movie

They call him ‘Skateboard P’… but now the ‘P’ stands for ‘Producer.’
Pharrell Williams has announced that he’s taking on producing duties for Mikey Alfred‘s upcoming feature film North Hollywood. The film is being promoted as the first to ever portray a skater’s journey to the pro ranks, which is something only really tackled in video games (like Tony Hawk’s Underground) and in real-life documentaries (like The Berrics).
North Hollywood (aka No Ho) stars Ryder McLaughlin, Aramis Hudson, Nico Hiraga, Miranda Cosgrove, Angus Cloud, and Swingers’ Vince Vaughn.
