Riders Republic Video Game Introduces Skateboarding
Ubisoft’s ‘Riders Republic’ game has entered the skateboarding video game arena with it’s latest add-on that introduces skateboarding to the games choice of action sports. The open world extreme sports game, which was released in late 2020, features 4 major action sports such as mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, wingsuit flying, and soon, skateboarding. While the game tackles a plethora of action sports, the inclusion of skateboarding into the game will start to turn some heads from skaters AND video game developers of already established skateboarding video game franchises such as THPS, SkaterXL, and skate. While skateboarding in ‘Riders Republic’ is still in the Alpha stage, we’re excited to see what realistic gameplay mechanics they bring to the game and we can’t wait to get our hands on Season 8 on September 26th.
