WKND COLLABS WITH STATE FOOTWEAR FOR NEW SHOE & VIDEO
WKND is in the pink. Team rider Christian Maalouf designed a candy pink hi-top for the brand’s collaboration with State Footwear, and that shit looks good. (It even has a throwback ollie pad “toe panel,” as if high jump record-holding Maalouf even needs it.) As per usual, brand funnyman Grant Yansura put together a sardonic take on the concept of “marketing,” featuring a mock brainstorm session between him and Maalouf. The lesson? When all else fails, just stick to the low-hanging fruit: Slo-mo.
