Nike SB drops a 7 minute part of Yuto Horigome hitting the streets of Tokyo, Japan to celebrate the release of his new Nike SB Dunk Low. Join Yuto as he hits his hometown to handle heavy handrails, sail down massive stair sets, shows love to his local spots, and close out his part with a jaw-dropping ender that will literally make your head spin.
Ever since Yuto grabbed the Gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics for Street Skateboarding, and his recent 1st place finish at 2023 SLS Tokyo, the hometown hero has been slowly cementing his legacy in Japan and the release of the Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low secures his place in Nike SB’s history forever.
“Built from premium materials the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Yuto Horigome celebrates his hometown with a symbolic colorway handpicked by Yuto. Inside and out, Yuto’s Dunk is an homage to Ōjima Komatsugawa Park in Tokyo, Japan—the place that defined his early days of skating and sparked his journey. From the marble benches to the rich cherry blossoms that light up Komatsugawa’s paths, the premium suede and leather upper features washed hues that emulate the colors of Yuto’s youth. Featuring embroidered feathers artwork designed by Japanese artist Verdy on the heel and tongue detail, and cherry blossom renderings on the insoles, the Yuto Horigome Dunk Low also comes packaged in a custom box and offers three tonal lace options.”
Back in 2016 we featured Yuto in our Next New Wave series and he’s compiled a ton of footage within The Berrics since then… check out his Next New Wave part and some of our favorite park videos with him, below!
