It’s been 3 days since the WBATB Finals and I’m still sitting here trying to process it all. To be a part of something historical is a feeling I don’t think I’ll ever get used to…
The last 3 years kept flashing before my eyes on Saturday night, putting me back in the moments spent with Jenn Soto on our cross country drive to LA from the East Coast. We gathered our most important possessions and stacked it all up in my Honda Element, with my guinea pig Boh between us. We moved our entire lives to chase our dreams, as cliché as that sounds. We were just little babies and we were scared shitless.
Our entire community has grown and prospered in these past three years. Each and every one of these womxn feel like family to me and it’s so beautiful to see them shine. I’m so incredibly grateful for this community, I will never be able to properly articulate how much they mean to me. This is just the start… for all of us!
