Skateboarding

PARTICIPATE IN THE TONY HAWK FOUNDATION X USC SKATE SURVEY

survey
You are invited to participate in a research study conducted by Dr. Zoe Corwin and Neftalie Williams from the University of Southern California (funded by the Tony Hawk Foundation).

The purpose of the project is to measure the impact of skateboarding on young people and their educational and career trajectories. In many cases, skateparks support a diverse group of youth and provide a low-cost opportunity to stay active in communities that may lack recreational facilities. Since skate culture expands beyond parks and into surrounding communities, we believe it is important to examine the interaction among skateparks/communities and social institutions such as K-12 schools and postsecondary institutions in order to better understand opportunities to improve health, education, and career outcomes for skateboarders.
